Dreamweaver Extension for MX and later version
Although the internet has evolved dramatically in the recent years, the elements used in forms, such as <select>, <input> and <textarea>, have preserved their usual structure. To facilitate the creation of more elaborated forms – visually, as well as functionally – we have developed a tool that is both efficient and easy to use – RichForm.
RichForm is distributed as an extension for Adobe Dreamweaver (MX or later versions), which allows Adobe Dreamweaver users to modify their forms with a simple click.
RichForm offers the following features:
- The <select> fields, marked to be replaced, are converted into autocompletable fields. When the user presses a key, only the options starting with the selected letter are shown, and with every new letter added to the selection, fewer options remain, the selection becoming more and more specific. This way, users are not obligated to select the desired option from long lists (as for example a list of states in a country).
- The marked fields <input>, <button> and <a>, are replaced and unified in a unique visual way, which makes your form more consistent visually.
- The marked <textarea> fields are replaced by a real text editor that offers more possibilities in content editing.
The term "marked field" is really simple: the marked field is differentiated from a field that is not marked, in the class attribute. The field class assigned to marked fields is "richform".
Adobe Dreamweaver MX or later versions (including MX 2004, DW 8, DW CS3, DW CS4, DW CS5, DW CS6, ...).
